This is a great little bar if you just want to stop off for a beer, a tapas and a rest whilst taking in the amazing atmosphere around the dam of the Guadalhorce reservoir… It is situated right on top of the dam a hundred metres away from the Meson del Conde. The only slight issue with this place is that it’s opening hours seem a bit hit and miss. However, if it is open when you pass by and you don’t feel like a big sit down meal then this is a great option. Service is a bit slow but the staff are very friendly and the various home made tapas are very tasty.
I’ve been living in this lovely area of Western Andalucia for the last 20 years or so and dedicate most of my time to the running of English language tourist information websites for the towns of Cádiz, Ronda, Grazalema, the famous or infamous Caminito del Rey, and also Wildside Holidays, which promotes sustainable and eco-friendly businesses running wildlife and walking holidays in Spain. My articles contain affiliate links that will help you reserve a hotel, bus, train or activity in the area. You don’t pay more, but by using them you do support this website. Thankyou!
